google finance has gotten an update!
Among the new features are:
1. Comparison to stock index, or stock of your choice.
2. Automatic calculation of % change over displayed period. (This synergizes beautifully with the fact that you can scale the displayed period with a slider bar with 1-day resolution).
3. Flags for events like dividends and splits.
If you don’t care about stocks, I guess none of this matters much, but it’s just another example of google’s exceptionally efficiency and elegance in information display!
