batting cages of the future
Sunday, September 23rd, 2007Baseball is a team sport that it’s pretty hard to play alone. Batting is a fundamental aspect of the sport that only requires a pitcher to practice, but you also need a lot of balls and a good shagger (did that sound sexual?) to make it reasonably efficient. People seem quite willing to pay a few bucks to skip that part and just head to the cages.
So, the question is, what is the next sport that people would pay to practice? Soccer? Lacrosse?
There’s an arcade game for basketball that involves rapidly shooting into a net with a built-in return. Would people pay for a full-size version of that?
